Winner of seventeen Academy Awards, The Lord of the Rings was brought to the big screen by New Line Cinema and directed by Peter Jackson. Wētā Workshop was intrinsically involved in the design and physical effects manufacture for all three films.
Once the head of the Order of the Istari and a truly great and wise Wizard, Saruman the White fell into darkness and became an agent of evil during the War of the Ring. Too long he studied the ways of his enemy, believing that in better understanding Sauron’s nature he might discern a means of victory. Using one of the lost Seeing Stones of Númenor, the Wizard sought to spy upon the Dark Lord, but was tricked into communing with him through the polished black orb. It was a contest of wills that Saruman lost.
Lured by promises of power and dark thoughts of his own mastery, Saruman fell from his purpose and abandoned his allies. In his arrogance he believed himself capable of usurping Sauron’s place. Even as he did his new master’s bidding, the corrupted Wizard plotted a second betrayal. Yet in doing so he overreached, for pride and lust for power had blinded Saruman and the Eye of Sauron perceived his treachery through the lens of the palantir. The downfall of Saruman, once the leader of the White Council, was doomed to be written in blood.
Expertly sculpted by Gary Hunt, a member of the original Lord of the Rings crew, Saruman the White will make an excellent addition to your Wētā Workshop miniatures collection.

It takes hundreds of hours to design, sculpt, model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new Middle-earth piece. This is just perfect, robe, face beard, and especially palantir, everything very detailed.
Issues:
- He could look little higher to be usable at desk level, I have him at eye level and he is giving me much better advices than rubber ducks or AI chatbots.
- There is no matching Gandalf the White miniature statue, those two wizards at top of their power next to each other would truly be epic.

Bought the statue in the sale but when it arrived it was broken of the base and when I got in touch with weta they did refund me the cost of the statue even though I told them I\'d like a replacement they just said it would be easier to re-order the statue but it wasn\'t in the sale so would have cost me £100 more to re-order it. To say I feel scammed is an understatement

This is my first weta statue. I bought it on january 2022, and since bought the 1/6 scale nazgul two figure of fandom witch king and gandalf,gollum mini statue and eight mini epics. The quality is amazing

My first proper weta statue
I love collecting LOTR mini epics ect but this was my first real weta collectable from the main range. The paint job looks pretty much as good as the demo model and I am so impressed. This is dangerous, as I\'m bound to want more. Well done weta keep up the good work

Amazing piece!
Ours just came today and it looks amazing! It\'s nearly perfect, the only flaw we\'ve seen on it is some of the black from the staff is sprayed lightly on the top of his hand. It\'s very minor and not even worth half a star off.
Considering the price of statues this is a very good entry level buy, as it has all of the quality from more expensive statues but is reasonably priced for being on the smaller side.

I Like It
It is a wonderful piece; however, it arrived with the top of the staff bent backwards. If you can avoid this shortcoming, the piece is pretty neat and the price is good.
I managed with the staff by bending it forward and holding for a few seconds, it is still slightly tilted but looks better than how it arrived.
